I've
been involved with music for as long as I can remember. From being in
bands growing up through high school, then breaking into Dj'ing in and
around North Wales and the North West of England at the height of the
dance music explosion in the early 90's. As a natural progression from
this I began producing my own work in a small home project studio and
managed to get number of songs licensed for release internationally
breaking into the top 30 of the Balance Dance Chart in North America,
being featured on compilation albums in Japan, as well as having my
songs played out by some of the top uk Dj's at different events
throughout the country.
In the early 00's I turned my attention to more traditional studio work, remixing for other artists and beginning to engineer and produce for solo artists and bands. It's a constantly evolving process which I love and aspire to improve every day. I have worked freelance at a number of different recording studios and been lucky enough to work with some fantastic artists both signed and unsigned as well as producing work and helping bands breakthrough to secure record deals. I am now based at my own Recording studio and rehearsal space in Cheshire, North of England, as well as writing music for TV/corporate use through a production company. My whole approach and ethos to the production, engineering and mixing of music is that you should never lose sight of the artists goal. I want the mix to be something you can immerse yourself in and feel as well as hear what the production is trying to convey. |
